There is no vaccine for the psychological impact of COVID-19

We have all learned to cope with the pandemic in one way or another. As the world begins to open back up we are now having to face the mental repercussions the pandemic had on our brains. Essentially this pandemic we have been in for the last year and a half was a trauma.

Psychologically a trauma is your core beliefs about the world, others and how you see yourself are challenged in some way.

In a society where we spend much of our time interacting socially we have had to become hypervigilant. Not only are we concerned with the long term psychological effects the pandemic has had on us but we are also just beginning to see the long term physical and mental effects on the body for those who had COVID-19 themselves. Some things we are beginning to see are sleep concerns, breathing issues, anxiety, focus and concentration concerns and fatigue.

The effects the pandemic had will differ from person to person.

We say Neurofeedback is a good option to help combat these effects because the whole point of the system is to calm down the central nervous system to monitor the brain and for the technology to dance with your individual brain to show it how it is functioning and allow it to use its own natural resources to readjust itself.

We have already had clients with physical long term covid effects report progress in easing concerns.
